How can I get the point labes on a chart to appear inside the bar.Data point labels have two modes:
* automatic (checkbox on the data point label tab) - this will move labels
around so that they don't overlap
* manual (uncheck auto and use the 9 little buttons below it to determine
the label position)

where the 9 buttons are supposed to place the text.

top-centered, top-right, middle-left, middle-centered, middle-right,
bottom-left, bottom-centered, bottom-right. Just try it.

always displays ourside the bar to the right no matter which of the 9 muttons
I pick.

regardless of which position i set, top-left, top-centered, top-right,
middle-left, middle-centered, middle-right, bottom-left,
bottom-centered, etc... The label in my chart always displays at
"top-centered".

centered.

Yes, I am using a "stacked" column chart. Can the labels be on top, as
in displayed outside the column/bar instead of "in" the column. Here's
an illustration:-

Thanks.
--Jordan|||No, the chart control does not support explicit label positions if you use a
stacked (column, bar, area) chart.
