please someone help me...

i need a comparison between ms sql 7.0, 2000 and 2005.

please someone help me.

There was a 7.0 BOL online I could not find it so buy an Osborn press book that comes with eval of the product. The 2000 BOL can still be downloaded and 2005 is current. In general 7.0 and 2000 are similar except DRI(declarative referential integrity) in 2000 and 2005 is very different compared to 2000 only what is new can fill many books because the Dimension modeling and prediction modeling is all new. So is Reporting services and integration services. Hope this helps.

Specifically within Books Online, look for the What's New section. Here's a pointer to the What's New section in SQL Server 2000 http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa313021(SQL.80).aspx and SQL Server 2005 http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms170363.aspx. Books Online for version 7 is not available on msdn.

Gail
